Yummy Pajeon

Korea is one country that has a variety of snacks made from wheat flour, one of which is Pajeon
This one snack has a savory flavor with the addition of several types of seafood during the frying process.

Ingredients

• 100 grams of flour
• 2 titles of water
• 3 eggs
• 2 leeks
• 1 teaspoon of salt
• 1/4 teaspoon of powdered pepper
• 40 grams of oysters that have been removed from the skin
• 30 grams of scallops
• 40 grams of medium size shrimp that has been removed from the skin

Sauce:

• 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
• 5 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons of fish sauce
• 2 pieces of chives which have been cut into pieces
• 1 mashed white bwang cloves
• 1 tablespoon of chili powder (can also use fresh chili)
• 1/4 teaspoon of vinegar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon of sugar

Instructions

1. Clean and wash the ingredients such as oysters, shrimp, scallops, and leeks
2. Cut chives, shrimp and scallops cut to size and shape according to taste. Make sure to be smaller than before.
3. If the ingredient has been cut then take 3 eggs, remove the shell then put it in a container and shake the egg.
4. After the egg is beaten add 100 grams of flour and 2 degrees of water. Stir the ingredients to mix well
5. Add chopped leeks, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon of powdered pepper. Then stir again until well blended
6. The dough is ready to enter the frying process

Sauce: 

1. Saute chopped onion and mashed garlic. Saute until it gives off the aroma
2. Then enter 2 teaspoons of sesame oil, 5 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, 1 tablespoon of chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon of vinegar, Salt 1/2 teaspoon and 1/4 teaspoon of sugar
3. Stir all ingredients until well blended, wait until the sauce has boiled.
4. If the sauce has boiled it means the sauce is cooked
5. Turn off the stove and put the sauce in the container according to taste.

Pajeon frying process: 

1. Add enough mixture to the Teflon which has been filled with hot oil
2. Then turn the mixture until it is rounded
3. Add oysters, shrimp pieces, scallop pieces over the mixture
4. If the bottom has turned brownish the dough so that all parts can be cooked evenly.
5. Use a fire that is not too big when frying pajeon so that maturity can be perfect.

Suggestion for serving Pajeon:

1. If all the parts of the pajeon have turned brownish in color and the seafood is placed in the top part of the mixture such as oysters, shrimp, the scallop has softened and also changed color, that means the pajeon has matured
2. The way to serve the pajeon is to lift the pajeon from Teflon and put it on a plate. Cut the Pajeon according to taste and don't forget to add the sauce that has been made. Pajeon is ready to be enjoyed.
