Tandoorí Salmon

Tandoorí ís an índían-style cookíng techníque usíng clay oven. Spíced meat, físh or potatoes are then roasted usíng thís tradítíonal oven. Salmon ís also suítable, ít's cooked tandoorí style.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound wíld-caught Salmon
  • 2 teaspoons papríka
  • 1 teaspoon garlíc powder
  • 1 teaspoon coríander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmírí chílí powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon turmeríc
  • ¼ teaspoon gínger powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 teaspoons mustard oíl

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Líne a bakíng sheet wíth foíl.
  3. Combíne spíces ín a bowl and míx well. Add the mustard oíl to create a paste.
  4. Rub the paste onto the salmon usíng your fíngers.
  5. Put the salmon on the bakíng sheet (skín-síde down), then put ít ín the oven.
  6. Bake for 4-6 mínutes per half-ínch thíckness. í roasted míne for 10 mínutes total.
  7. The físh ís done when flaky.
