Peanut Cake with Cashews
- 150 gr margarine
- 125 gr of refined sugar
- 250 gr of low protein wheat flour
- 100 gr cashews (roasted)
- 75 gr half-cooked roasted cashew nuts in half
- 1 egg yolk
- Baking powder
- 2 egg yolks (used for spread)
- 1 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Prepare a baking grill or can use the oven. Heat the oven until the temperature reaches 1500C. While waiting for the oven to dry, you can make a cake mixture.
- Prepare a measured container of heat, add the ingredients of refined sugar and shake the margarine. Mix the two ingredients with a mixer for 3 minutes. Reduce the mixer, add yellow egg and liquid milk. Mix again until all ingredients are mixed.
- When mixed evenly, add the roasted cashew ingredients. Stir using a cake spatula, add a small amount of flour and baking powder that has been sifted. Stir the mixture again evenly.
- The dough is ready, when it is thinly ground with a thickness of 2 to 3 cm. The mills are then printed using a crescent shape cake mold with a diameter of 3 cm. The printed dough is placed on a baking sheet. Previously the pan should be smeared with margarine so it doesn't stick. Continue printing the cake until the dough runs out.
- Prepare egg yolk and brush, basting the surface of the cake with the egg until evenly distributed. Place the cashews on the cake surface.
- Add the pan to the oven, bake for 40 minutes.
- Turn off the oven, lift the cake and drain it on the tray, let it cool. The cold cake is immediately put in the jar in the air so the cake remains crispy.
